A: Out of the box, it is sealed for basic daily use (splash/rain proof) and VSF Seamasters are generally known for good sealing. However, we strongly recommend a professional pressure test before swimming.
Q: How does the movement compare to the Genuine 8800?
A: It features the same 55-hour power reserve and the date is set via the quick-set position (same as Gen). It is currently one of the most stable clone movements available in the market.
Q: Does this have a clear caseback?
A: No. Accurate to the 75th Anniversary edition, this model has a solid steel caseback with the Poseidon engraving. Standard Seamasters have clear backs; this special edition does not.
